Where Have I Been? Hint: It Involves a Camera!

You might have noticed things have been a little quiet on the blog front recently. If you’re a regular reader, you might have even dropped me a message asking if everything’s okay (thank you for that, by the way – your support means the world!). Where have I been? Hint: It Involves a Camera!

Where Have I Been? Hint: It Involves a Camera! The truth is, I’ve been pouring all my energy into something else: my YouTube channel!

It’s been a whirlwind of planning, filming, editing, and learning, and I’ve been absolutely loving the process. While writing these blog posts has always been a fantastic way to connect with you and share insights. I’ve found that video offers a unique and incredibly powerful way to demonstrate wheelchair skills.

Think about it: seeing a technique in action. Watching the nuances of a movement, and getting a real-time perspective on how to tackle different challenges. Something that static text and photos just can’t fully capture. My goal has always been to provide the most effective and accessible training possible. Right now, YouTube feels like the perfect platform to do that. To showcase the possibilites.

So, while the blog took a bit of a backseat, it was for a good cause! I’ve been busy creating content that I truly believe will help more wheelchair users gain confidence and independence. From mastering curbs to navigating tricky terrain, the channel is growing with practical, real-world advice.

Don’t worry, this blog isn’t going anywhere permanently. I still love writing and sharing my thoughts here. I’m planning to get back to a more regular posting schedule soon. But for now, I encourage you to head over to my YouTube channel. Check out what I’ve been up to. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the videos, and as always, your suggestions for future content are always welcome!
